What does our assisted living support include?

At Helping Hands, we firmly believe that home is the best place to receive care. Our Home Care in Norwich team will take the time to understand your circumstances and your physical and mental condition so that they’re able to provide you with a bespoke package of care that never leaves you feeling isolated or unsupported. Plus, every step of your care provision will be independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so you can have full peace of mind about our incredibly high standards.

You’ll then receive dedicated one-to-one support from one of our fantastic carers who will be able to help out around the home with whatever you need – from assisting with medication and mobility, to cooking your favourite meals and providing personal care.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Norwich

We firmly believe that Helping Hands carers are the very best in the UK, because we’re extremely selective when it comes to hiring people to our care teams. Our Norwich care branch comprises a team of exceptional carers who constantly go above and beyond to ensure every customer receives the level of support that they deserve. All of our carers have been specifically recruited for their kind, empathetic personalities and their dedicated approach to their roles, and have been subjected to numerous background checks before joining so that we know they’ll be a perfect fit for us and for you. We provide every new carer with our comprehensive carer training, which we’ve been delivering in-house for over 30 years, and they’ll continue to participate in regular refresher courses.

When to consider this type of support?

Assisted living is a great option for anyone who needs any level of extra support to manage from day to day – whether they’re living with a complex condition, a disability or simply are lacking the physical or mental capacity to take care of themselves or their home. Staying at home for assisted living allows you to continue enjoying life on your own terms – you’ll be able to remain in a warm, familiar environment, with support that is tailored around your existing routines and lifestyle.

How much does assisted living cost?

The cost of supported living from Helping Hands will vary depending on your level of need. Our visiting care packages start from £31.00 per hour, whilst live-in care prices start at £1,650 per week for one person and £1,650 per week for a couple. Each care visit also incurs a £4.50 fee to cover your carer’s costs.

We know how important it is to you that your care is straightforward to arrange, sustainably affordable, and doesn’t come with any unwanted extras or additional costs. That’s why we’re completely transparent about the upfront costs involved in our industry-leading home care, and will never ever try to push you to sign up for any extra hours or services that you don’t want or need. Your local care manager in Norwich will always be on hand to help you make any changes you wish to make to your support at a moment’s notice.
