What does our assisted living support include?

At Helping Hands, our home care in Birmingham team works hard to provide outstanding assisted living so our customers can remain in the place they love most – home.

Assisted living allows you to maintain your independence and routine at home. We are monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales.

Qualified carers providing assisted living In Birmingham

All our carers are fully trained to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. They undergo an intensive training programme, so they are equipped with the essential skills to care for you or your loved one. We also conduct strict background checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We understand it can be daunting having someone new come into your home, which is why we take these measures seriously.

You won’t need to worry about a thing; our live in care in Birmingham carers are empathetic and kind individuals who will always put your needs first. Plus, they make the best companions.

When to consider this type of support?

If you are struggling with your mobility or living with a complex condition, then assisted living is the package for you. Our carers can provide personalised care so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. So, whether you need help moving safely around your house, support with personal care or going to medical appointments, you can always count on us to be there for you.

Assisted living is available on a visiting and live-in basis. So, you can opt to have care from as little as 30 minutes a week or 24 hours a day. So rest assured, we will find a package to suit your needs and requirements.

How much does assisted living cost?

We understand that costs can play a deciding factor in your care, which is why we are always upfront about how much we charge. You won’t be faced with any referral fees or unexpected costs – we believe in transparency. Plus, receiving care at home is a cost-effective alternative to moving into a residential care home.

Assisted living costs start from £31.00 for visiting care. There is also a call-out charge of £4.50, which covers your carer’s travel costs. For round-the-clock support, live-in care costs start from £1,650 per week for a single person and £1,650 per week for a couple.
