Other care we provide
Home care Worcester - visits to suit you
Helping Hands was founded by Mary Lee in 1989 in order to provide person-centred home care to those who needed it in the comfort of their own homes. Built on a foundation of family values, we have always ensured that the service we provide has been family-focused and completely tailored to you and your needs. And over 30 years later, we are proud that we are still providing the same level of high-quality home care to each and every one of our clients across England and Wales.
Every member of the Helping Hands team is here to ensure that we enable our clients to enjoy the quality of life that they deserve in the comfort of their own homes, irrespective of their personal or medical needs. So whether you need support with your housekeeping and medication administration or simply a friendly face to pop in every now and again for a cup of tea and a chat, we’ll be there for you.
And what’s more, with the support of our dedicated Clinical Nurse team, we’re fully equipped to support with more complex conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s and those that are recovering from a stroke, so you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands.
Personalised live-in care for round-the-clock support

Better Than a Care Agency In Worcester
At Helping Hands we have never been an agency, we’re a private home care company who, since our founding in 1989 has delivered the highest quality home care to people in their own homes. The biggest difference between a care agency and a private company is that an agency will charge you ‘referral fees’ and other costs and then also expect you to employ and manage your carer yourself.
At Helping Hands though, we offer fully managed home care services on both a visiting and live-in basis, and our incredible carers will support you with every aspect of your daily routine. We’ll design you a bespoke package of care that will be flexible to your changing needs and your local care managers will always ensure your support is delivered to the highest standards.
Award-winning training for our Worcester carers
Our Worcester carers are committed to providing you or your loved one with the very best possible care. And to ensure that they deliver your care to the highest standard, they each complete a comprehensive training programme that covers modules such as moving and handling, personal care, medication administration and safeguarding. What’s more, they also complete regular refresher training courses throughout their time with us to ensure that their skills and expertise are always at the best that they can be.
Our carers are committed to ensuring that you receive the best condition-led care possible, and they will work closely with you, your loved ones and your GP to understand the best way to support you.
Here at Helping Hands, we’re proud to be the only home care provider endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care, and we are also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
