Respite Care
We have found that many family members that are carers, never take a break. The majority feel guilty at leaving their loved on to go on holiday, they hate the idea of having to put someone through the upheaval of going into a home for two weeks, of them having to get used to a new routine in unfamiliar surroundings.
Many never think of Live in Care as the perfect respite care solution, some may not know of Live-in Care as a care solution, while others don’t know that it is available as a short term option.
Respite Care can be a short-term care service designed to help you or your regular personal care assistant take a well deserved break. The majority of respite live-in care is available for a minimum of two weeks, an experienced and fully trained Live in Care professional will move into the home and continue the routines and lifestyle of the person being cared for, reducing disruption and anxiety. This can give you the carer a welcome break, time to recharge your batteries, take some timeout with friends and family or go on holiday knowing that your loved one is at home being well cared for. Respite care gives you time to rest and relax without the worry of a loved one having to cope with a new routine.
Respite Care is often an emergency situation, but Respite Care can be arranged quickly and efficiently. Working to an individually designed care plan, many people find this one-to-one personal home care service ideal for holiday, illness or emergency cover.
Respite Care can be provided for individuals with over 45 different conditions, ranging from Dementia and Alzheimer’s, to Multiple Sclerosis, to Strokes.
