Home care in Tipton
Visiting care and home care in Tipton
Tipton was one of the key towns during the Industrial Revolution and was famous for its ironmaking and mining. Tipton gains its name from the Anglo-Saxon name ‘Tibba’ followed by ‘tun’, the Old English word for farm or settlement. While it used to be a collection of small hamlets, it is now a bustling town in the West Midlands.
We know it can be hard to consider leaving your hometown to get access to health care. That’s why at Helping Hands, we’ll bring our care to you, so you’ll never have to leave! Regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we’re always kept up to standard. We have over 150 branches across the UK and over 35 years of experience, and we’re proud to be able to offer the people of Tipton excellent home care.

Branch Care Manager
As the Branch Manager for Helping Hands Walsall, my main role is to ensure that we provide a high quality and safe service. I make sure that the branch runs smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customers and carers are happy. Our main goal is to ensure that we provide person centred care and achieve positive outcomes. I joined helping hands in February 2019 but have worked in care for over ten years, starting as a carer for a nursing home in Wolverhampton. I have worked with people with various needs and dependency levels. I became a senior carer for the dementia unit and this quickly became my main passion. I became a dementia friend and began to actively raise money for the Alzheimer's society. I joined Helping Hands as a care Coordinator for the Wolverhampton branch and I am now Branch Manager for Walsall. After caring for my grandad, who had Alzheimer's, I knew my calling was to work in the health care sector. I am extremely passionate about keeping people at home in their own environment and with their routine. A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. I have two young children and two dogs. My ideal day would be a trip to the farm or zoo, followed by a picnic in the park. I enjoy listening to music and cooking/trying new food.

24/7 live-in care support
Our live-in care is designed for you if you need support 24/7. Our carers can help with anything from general housekeeping, preparing healthy meals and running errands for you. They can take care of the day-to-day tasks you may struggle with nowadays. They can help create a daily routine that can include exercise to maintain a healthy and happy life. We can even help take care of your pets and help get you out and about in the Tipton community. Our personal care means they can also help with bathing, dressing and toileting, as well as continence care.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Tipton
We’re better because we care! Our nursing care provides more medically complex support like medication administration, stoma and catheter care, ventilation care and NIPPY and PEG feeding. Our carers aren’t only experts at the clinical care side of things, but they’re also friendly and compassionate people with a passion for helping others. That’s why we try to handpick our carers to match your personality and interests so that you gain a trusted friend within your home in Tipton. We hope you’ll soon have a new companion to show off the nearby Black Country Living Museum with!
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Tipton
We DBS check our carers to make sure they’re the best people for the job and they are all qualified, trained, and experienced. We offer the best of the best when it comes to your home care, and we welcome you to contact us over the phone or via our seven-day-a-week Live Chat on our website. You can also pop into one of our branches for an in-person chat about it all if you prefer the face-to-face approach. Our friendly staff are always happy to hear you out and answer any questions you may have. We’re experts in care after all – we have lots to say!
