Are you thinking about home care for either yourself or a loved one? Helping Hands has been one of the UK’s leading home care agencies for more than 30 years, during which time we’ve earnt a reputation in the industry for care of an excellent standard.
Helping Hands is certified by the CQC in England and the Care Inspectorate in Wales (CIW), so you are guaranteed care that is both effective and safe. We’ve also received other accreditations that attest to our commitment to quality, including being the only home care group to earn the title of Centre of Excellence. At Helping Hands, we put our clients first in everything we do, and we only work with the most compassionate, experienced caring professionals that share our vision.
From the time you first reach out to a Helping Hands consultant, we will work hard to devise a care plan that works best for you and your unique lifestyle. We don’t offer generic, one-size-fits-all care. Instead, our carers work closely with you in the home you love, to deliver support that fits around your daily habits, personality and preferences.
This might mean live-in care or nurse-supported care that gives you round-the-clock peace of mind, or it could mean more intermittent visiting care throughout the week, starting from as little as 30 minutes weekly and scaling up according to your needs. Our carers are ready to help with whatever makes your life easier, from errands and shopping to meal prep, personal grooming, pet care, mobility, medications, housework or simply a friendly chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Respite care is intermediate care provided in the event an ordinary carer is not available. Many of our customers are carers themselves, who might be feeling poorly, have a family emergency that takes them elsewhere, or who simply need to step away for a week to take a holiday. We understand that care work can be enormously fulfilling, but carers need rest and recuperation too, and that’s why we’re happy to fill in for you while you’re away. You can rest assured that we’ll take care of everything, whether that’s for a day or a few weeks. All the normal daily routines will be kept intact so that everything is in order on your return.
We also offer respite care services for any situation in which you feel you might need an extra pair of hands for a little while. You can give us a call after you’ve come home from a hospital procedure, or are recovering from an accident or illness, and we can help you get back on your feet.
Whether because of limited mobility or the effects of health concerns, many seniors find some daily activities a little more challenging than normal. Helping Hands carers are at the ready to provide
exactly the support you need at home to make these things easier, so you can get on with living the life you want to live, in the comfort of your own home. We understand that many elders don’t want to lose their sense of independence, and that’s why we work with you to tailor elderly care to suit your needs. We can be there once or twice a week to help with tricky errands or household tasks, or we can come daily to make sure that all the day’s familiar routines are carried out exactly the way you like them.
Helping Hands carers are especially trained to offer compassionate, patient and effective dementia care for those elders living with the symptoms of conditions like Alzheimer’s. We know that supporting loved ones with dementia can be challenging, and that seeking care for them can be difficult. You need to know that you can trust your chosen carer, and that your loved one is in safe hands.
Whether we are providing overnight care, emergency care or respite care for a normal carer, our staff are passionate, big-hearted people who truly want to make a difference in others’ lives. We know that with dementia, no two days are ever quite the same. But with dementia home care, you can be sure that your family member is safe and sound, and receiving undivided care and attention from a trained professional.
While there are many excellent services for our home care in Stratford-upon-Avon, we know that residential home care facilities are not appropriate for everyone. People have individual care needs, and we understand that some care options can be distressing, especially for those living with dementia. We believe that Helping Hands is in a class of its own because we always strive to offer personal and personalised care. In big or small ways, we offer a truly customised service that we like to think has enhanced the quality of life for thousands of people across the country.
