At Helping Hands, we offer the best care around for you and your dementia. We’ve been around since 1989 with over 150 branches across the UK, including within Staffordshire. We offer responsive and emotional support to make it all a bit easier on you. Within your familiar environment, our experienced carers will be there every step of the way. We’re also regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), so we’re always growing and improving our service. We offer live-in, visiting and respite care to help you and your unique needs.
Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with dementia? Perhaps it’s all getting too much to handle on your own? +We can help for as little or as long as you need. If you just need a hand with the dishes lately, our carers are experts at general housekeeping, meal preparation and running errands. We can help around the house and even look after your adorable pets (a perk of the job!) We can tailor a care routine around you and your dementia and always adapt it to your changing needs. Staffordshire is famous for its cities such as Stoke-on-Trent, its famous pottery and its growing population. With Helping Hands, you won’t have to leave the home you love. We can offer bespoke dementia care to suit your needs.
Our carers are experts at what they do. Not only are they great company and good at helping your home become more dementia friendly, but they are also trained specifically in dementia-led care. We can help make your home more dementia friendly by keeping the home clean and tidy and using dementia-friendly colours and patterns. Alongside this, our nursing care can help with medication administration, physiotherapy, and discreet care like dressing and continence care. We want to help manage your dementia, as opposed to it managing you!
We don’t just pick anyone to be a Helping Hands carer. They are specially selected for their compassion and dedication to care and helping others. They’re superbly qualified and experienced at what they do, but did you know we also match our carers to your personality and interests? You’ll be looked after within your own home, and you’ll gain a valued companion to help you with your dementia. Hopefully, you’ll be able to take a new friend along to Staffordshire’s Cow Mop Castle!
If you have any more questions regarding your dementia and what we can offer to help you, feel free to contact us over the phone or via our Live Chat. It’s seven days a week, so we’re serious about being there for you whenever possible. You can also visit one of our branches for a cuppa and a chat about our dementia care plans. We have branches all over the UK with some of them in and around Staffordshire. We’re always eager to hear what you have to say, and we love to put people’s minds at ease.
