What does our assisted living support include?

At Helping Hands, we provide assisted living so our customers can maintain their independence and routine in the comfort of their own homes. They won’t have the hassle of relocating to a residential care home and can remain in a familiar environment, close to loved ones and special memories. For added reassurance, we are regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. This means our services are inspected to ensure we provide you with the very best care.

 

Our empathetic carers can support you with putting clothes on the washing line, getting dressed, preparing meals, taking you out into the community and providing valuable companionship. We will work had to fulfill your needs, so you can live life on your terms.

Our home care in Sheffield team are one in a million. They always go out of their way for our customers to help make their lives a little easier.

We ensure our carers are thoroughly trained before they step into your home. They also complete refresher courses to develop their skills. We also do a thorough background check on all our carers. So, you know you will be well looked after by individuals you can trust.

When to consider this type of support?

If you are living with a complex condition and need extra support around the house, we can help. Or perhaps you are recovering from an operation or accident and need care until you recover, then we will step in.

You can receive assisted living from as little as 30 minutes a week with visiting care. If you prefer round-the-clock support, we can arrange live-in care in Sheffield for you. We also provide temporary support via respite care. So, we will no doubt find a package to suit your needs.

How much does assisted living cost?

Our assisted living care packages start from £31.00 per hour for visiting care. You will also be charged £4.50 per visit to cover your carer’s travel costs. If you wish to receive 24-hour support, live-in care costs start from £1,650 per week for a single person and £1,650 per week for couples.

You may also be eligible for funding or benefits. To find out if you are entitled to this, contact your local authority.
