Since 1989, we’ve been providing people across England and Wales with empathetic, person-centred home care that genuinely makes a difference to their lives and livelihoods. When you choose our home care in Pudsey branch for care services, you’ll be partnering with a team of wonderful carers who are expertly trained and fully regulated. We offer a wide range of dedicated home care services to suit people with varying types and levels of support needs.
Home care gives you the control over your life that you deserve, because it allows you to remain in the place that you love whilst receiving a package of care that is fully tailored to your specific needs. Our Pudsey care team are able to offer you a bespoke care plan that supports you to live your best life through holistic, flexible care.
If your care needs are fairly straightforward, our visiting care packages will almost certainly be perfect for you – they start from just 30 minutes a week, and can be adapted according to your changing requirements and preferences. At the other end of the spectrum, we also offer live-in care which provides ideal support for people living with complex conditions that require round-the-clock attention.
Domiciliary care
More commonly known as ‘care at home’, domiciliary care gives you the opportunity to remain in the comfort of your own home whilst receiving dedicated one-to-one care from a highly trained carer. Domiciliary care can help you to manage any household chores and personal routines you might be struggling with, as well as being a source of emotional support to help with any feelings of loneliness you might be experiencing. Whether it’s doing the laundry, providing continence care, accompanying you to appointments, preparing your favourite meals or anything else, our fantastic carers are able to help with just about anything you need.
We’re very proud of our fantastic team of carers in Pudsey – they truly do go above and beyond each and every day to make sure our customers receive the exceptional care that they’re come to expect from Helping Hands. Our carer recruitment process is very stringent – we only ever hire people who share our organisational values of empathy, compassion and dedication, and all new recruits must pass a number of background checks before starting with us.
We also provide every carer with our in-house training, which gives them thorough instruction in, amongst other things, dementia care, health and safety, medication, and first aid. And, for your full peace of mind, all of our care provision is completely regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), so you know we’re being held accountable for every aspect of our care.
