How Do I Arrange My Home Care?

Your home is everything to you. You’ve laughed, cried, loved and lived a life there, and it’s understandable why you wouldn’t want to leave there just because you need additional support. If people you don’t know are going to come into your home, you and your loved ones need to know that they’re the right sort of people. We’re very particular about who joins us at Helping Hands, and we choose people carefully by screening them through the DBS and checking references carefully.

Local Care Tailored To Your Needs

Our local care teams across England and Wales will respect your home as much as you do, and design you a bespoke package of visiting and live-in care to suit your needs. All of our care packages are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales which should give you and your loved ones reassurance that we’re the UK’s most well-respected and trusted home care provider. Your carer will help to keep your home clean and tidy, support you to enjoy the local community and carry out your personal care, as well as anything else you need.

How Much Does Home Care Cost Per Hour?

Home care shouldn’t cost the earth; it should be affordable and offer value for money. It’s often comparable to residential care, which means you can continue living at home and remaining as independent as possible.

Visiting Care costs begin at £29.00 per hour, plus a callout charge of £4.25 and can be for a couple of hours at a time or throughout the day.

Our live-in care offers great value too. Beginning at £1,650 per week for an individual, and £1,650 for a couple, you get around-the-clock support at home.

We’ve been providing outstanding care at home in Northampton for decades, and across England and Wales since we were established in 1989. And because we ensure that our carers are fully vetted and their backgrounds checked you can be confident that only people who should do are coming into your home. It’s as important to us as it is to you that your home remains your safe and comfortable sanctuary, and with Helping Hands you’ll always remain in the very best hands.
