Home care in Littlehampton
Visiting care and home care in Littlehampton
Littlehampton, on the beautiful Sussex coast, is an ideal place to visit for a quiet weekend away or a busy family holiday. With care at home available on a visiting and live-in basis, all of which is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you’ll always remain in control of your own routine in the place you love the most.
With two award-winning beaches and a large seafront green, there’s plenty to do when the weather is fine, but even if it rains, there are enough cafes, restaurants, and cultural events to choose from to keep the whole family happy.
With 150 branches across England and Wales and a well-established presence in the Sussex area, Helping Hands felt that it was time we got to know the Littlehampton area better.

High quality home care in Littlehampton
When you’re looking for exceptional care at home and you don’t want to compromise, come to Helping Hands. We have been delivering care in our customers’ homes since 1989, which is we are now regarded one of the UK’s foremost private home care providers. We exist today with the same values and ethos at our heart as the day we started. Namely to provide personalised, person-centred home care, with a focus on promoting independence and promoting dignity. We’ve gone from strength to strength over the last three decades and we’re so pleased to be reaching even more people in Sussex.

24/7 live in care support
Live-in care provides you with the highest quality care and support on an around-the-clock basis. Perhaps you need some help with your housekeeping, personal care, or meal preparation, or you’d appreciate assistance to attend medical appointments, or meet friends. Our amazing live-in carers really are special, as they do all they can to ensure you live as well as possible in the home you love. This isn’t just reassuring for you though; it also means your loved ones can relax – safe in the knowledge that you’re never alone at home.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Littlehampton
Helping Hands have never been a care agency, which makes more of a difference than you may realise. For instance, care agencies don’t tend to employ their own carers, instead leaving it to you to organise, or forcing the carer to become self-employed. They often charge ‘referral’ and ‘introductory’ fees, even though we believe these things should always be part of the service, and once the carer is in your home they offer little in the way of follow-up support to either of you. It’ll never be like that with us though, as our fully managed service takes care of you from the moment you make contact.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Littlehampton
Our care services are available on both a visiting and live-in basis, which means thousands of carers to be recruited, sourced, and trained to our high standards. This is why we do all of this in-house though, not wanting to leave such crucial tasks to anyone outside of our company. Only a very small percentage of applicants make it through our rigorous recruitment and assessment process, but we feel its important that everyone who joins us shares our ethos for wanting to keep people independent at home, and also have compassion in their heart.
