Home care in Kings Hill
Visiting care and home care in Kings Hill
Kings Hill is a new village development in Kent which first broke ground in 1989 and was sympathetically designed and built in the Kent style, meaning it complements rather than detracts from the local environment. We have something in common with Kings Hill as we were also established in 1989, so we can identify with putting down roots and growing over the last 30 years.
Helping Hands has gone from a small, local home care company based in Alcester, Warwickshire, to one that now covers most of England and Wales, and with our visiting care and live-in care services starting from just 30 minutes a week, we’re able to support anyone who needs us, regardless of the severity of their condition.

Branch Care Manager
My role is the registered branch manager of Maidstone. My responsibilities are to support the office staff with the smooth running of the branch, recruiting carers and increasing the support in the local community by bringing in new customers and helping them to achieve positive outcomes that helps them to continue to live independently in their own home, working to CQC regulations and ensuring that Helping Hands continues to deliver a high standard of care. I enjoy supporting our care team enough to know that they are making a positive difference to those we support and that our team are providing a fantastic level of care to the Maidstone community. I’ve worked in health and social care for over 30 years and bring a wealth of experience to my role. Throughout my career I have developed a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to providing high quality care to those in need. My experience has taught me the importance of adaptability and effective communication, both of which are essential for building strong relationships with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. One of my key strengths lies in my ability to work effectively as part of a team and I am adept at fostering a culture of mutual respect.

-
Live-in care gives you the best of both worlds – you get the around the clock care you need yet get to remain in the home you love. Moving into residential care isn’t a decision to be taken lightly; you may want to remain in the home that you’ve lived in for decades, that you raised a family in, and that you’ve made many happy memories in, so if you’re reluctant to leave all of that you don’t have to. Better than an agency in Kings Hill
-
We’re better than a home care agency because we have a solid ethos for keeping our customers as independent as possible at home, as well as making sure our carers feel valued and motivated at all times. We achieve this by having a fully managed service and directly employing our carers, meaning they know we’re always behind them when they need us. On top of this we always ensure that our customers fully understand our pricing structure, keeping it clear and concise at all times.

Fully trained carers in Kings Hill
-
Our carers really are the heart of Helping Hands as without them we couldn’t provide care at home for our thousands of customers. This means that we have to be confident in who we are employing, and we select our carers very carefully from our many applicants. Our carers go through thorough training when they join us as well as being fully screened by the Disclosure and Barring Service to keep you safe at home. Our fully managed service is also regulated independently by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, so you can be confident at every stage with us.
