Home care in Huntington
Visiting care and home care in Huntington
Huntington was listed in William the Conqueror’s Domesday Book of 1086 as Hunditone. In those days the settlement consisted of only eight households although in the most recent census it had grown to have a population of over 2000. At Helping Hands, we understand rapid growth, although ours has happened a little quicker; over 30 years rather than a thousand! Even so, we are still best placed to support you or your loved ones to remain in the home you love and receive care from just 30 minutes a week. We’re fully regulated by the CQC and CIW so you can have complete confidence that we really are the home care experts. You’ll be in the best hands with Helping hands, so why not call us today to discover more?

Meet the Huntington care team
Branch Care Manager
Hello, I am Marcia, the Branch Manager in Peterborough. It is my duty to oversee all the operations in the local area and to guarantee that we are always delivering the greatest care, making sure that our customers remain safe and independent in their own homes. It is imperative to me and my team to ensure that we provide personalised packages to suit our customers' needs and in turn develop a strong working relationship between our team and the customer. My desire to work in social care has come from nursing my Father and Nan at home from a very young age. These experiences, and others through life, have given me the ambition to want to help people to empower others and improve their quality of life.

Live-in care Huntington
-
When your carer lives in your home, they are available to care for you around the clock yet will always be discreet and never get under your feet. Whether you have complex care needs that require the supervision of our clinical nurse team or you would prefer not to be in the house alone, with live-in care you get the best of both worlds. You get care and company when you require it but if you’d like some peace and quiet your carer will recognise that and will busy themselves undertaking other tasks, such as housework or laundry.
