Home care in High Wycombe
Visiting care and home care in High Wycombe
Once the site of a Roman villa, High Wycombe gets its name from the river Wye and the old English word for a wooded valley, “combe”. Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, High Wycombe had a flourishing furniture manufacturing industry, and High Wycombe Museum is home to a number of pieces that were built during that period.
Our High Wycombe Helping Hands team know how important it is that you’re able to remain in the home that you love, surrounded by familiar furnishings and your favourite views, whilst receiving the care that you need. That’s why our wonderful carers will always be happy to support you to live your best life.

Branch Care Manager
My primary role is to do everything I can to support my staff's health, safety, and well-being while ensuring the smooth operation of our services. I am responsible for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements and delivers quality care to our customers. I believe that by prioritising these areas, we can create a safe and supportive environment for both our staff and the people we serve. Originally, I am from Romania and I have a background in education. Over ten years ago, I moved to the UK, where I discovered a passion for working in the care sector. I began my career as a healthcare assistant and, through dedication and hard work, progressed through various roles within the field. In my personal life, I cherish spending time with my family and spoiling them with homemade goodies whenever I get the chance. Cooking and baking for my loved ones brings me great joy, and I take pride in creating delicious treats that bring smiles to their faces. Whether it’s a traditional Romanian dish or a new recipe I’ve discovered, sharing these moments with my family is a source of happiness and fulfillment. Overall, my journey from Romania to the UK and from healthcare assistant to my current role has been driven by a passion for care.

Care Agency in High Wycombe
-
Helping Hands are a private care provider, which means we’ll give you certain guarantees that you won’t always get if you opt for agency care in High Wycombe. For instance, we employ our carers directly and handle their monthly wages, as well as taking care of all the fiddly paperwork and administration that can often be so time consuming. We’re also up-front about how much our care costs – you’ll get no hidden fees or unexpected bills from us, because the cost of your care won’t vary from the quote we provide you with. We take all these steps because we want your care journey to be as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
