Branch Care Manager
I have worked in care for over seven years starting as from NHS I had the opportunity to work in West Middlesex hospital and Chelsea and Westminster hospital as booking coordinator. From there I progressed to Mihome care as a senior care coordinator managing 80 carers and overseeing 2000 weekly hours for Kensington and Chelsea Branch. This experience provided me with a unique perspective on the health care industry emphasising the importance of efficient coordination and compassionate patient care. In my role as a client liaison coordinator at Draycott Nursing and Care, I had the privilege of being at the fourth front of fostering positive relationships between our clients and carers. One of my key responsibilities were supporting new client enquiries, where I ensured that individuals and families received comprehensive information about our services addressing concerns with empathy and expertise. I also gained experience working closely with our clinical nurse team gaining valuable insights into the healthcare aspects of the service. I have been a Service Delivery Manager in Sugarman Health - Watford and Birmingham Branch leading 5000 hours service for the Complex care team During my tenure as a Service Delivery Manager at Sugarman Health, I had the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s operations and client services across multiple branches, particularly in Watford and Birmingham. Managing an extensive workload of 5000 hours spread across 9 territories, including regions such as Midlands, North Hampshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, and London, provided me with invaluable experience in overseeing diverse and complex care requirements. A key aspect of my role involved leading a dedicated team of care coordinators and field care supervisors. Through effective leadership and strategic planning, I ensured seamless coordination between our office staff and caregivers in the field. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, I empowered my team to deliver high-quality care services, tailored to the unique needs of our clients in each territory. Additionally, I played a vital role in supporting our service office by facilitating the acquisition of new care packages, contributing to the growth and sustainability of our business. My ability to establish and maintain positive relationships within the local community allowed me to work closely with community groups, building partnerships that benefited both our clients and our organization. This collaborative approach not only enhanced our service delivery but also reinforced our commitment to the communities we served. During my time as a care manager at Curacare I took on different approaches to ensure the growth of the business one of my key strategies involved actively engaging with the local community, forging partnerships, and building strong relationships within our immediate vicinity. I did this by understand the unique needs of the local community I was able to tailor our services to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

Home care Harrow - care to suit you
As an industry leader providing over 30 years’ experience in home care, we know exactly what it takes to provide high-quality home care. What’s more, we understand how important it is to feel safe, comfortable and enabled in your own home. That’s why the Harrow team build packages of care entirely around you.
With experience in supporting people living with dementia, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s, arthritis and many more conditions, we have the expertise and knowledge to provide person-centred care that takes heed of every single one of your care requirements. Even if it’s assistance in getting to and from medical appointments or help with dressing every day, we can arrange care calls for anything from 30-minute sessions to several daily visits.
As a viable alternative to residential care, domiciliary care allows you to be in control of your care without any restrictions. You may be recovering from a stroke and need support with getting in and out of bed, or you might just need help to keep your house clean and tidy; whatever we can help with, we will.
And with carers local to you in the borough of Harrow, we’ll even help you get out and about in the local community – whether that’s popping down to the local garden centre or spending the afternoon at St George’s Shopping Centre.

The difference between Helping Hands and a care agency in Harrow
Helping Hands are a private care provider, rather than a care agency, which means that we employ our carers directly and are completely responsible for their pay and general wellbeing. Often care agencies will require you – the customer – to pay your carer directly, and will surprise you with unexpected fees, hidden costs and unwanted paperwork. With Helping Hands, we take all of the stressful, time-consuming admin off your hands, ensuring that both you and your carer will be properly looked after.
Our carers really do go above and beyond for all of our customers, regardless of their condition or additional needs. It’s no coincidence that we’ve stood out as one of the UK’s best home care providers since 1989, which is mainly down to our fantastic home carers.
With thorough background checks in place and only 2% of our applicants making the cut as a Helping Hands carer, we only employ the very best. What’s more, we employ all of our carers directly, taking the stress out of any additional paperwork that comes with carers that work for external agencies.
Each and every one of our carers go through a vigorous training programme including manual handling, dementia care, first aid, safeguarding and medication administration. However, one thing that we can’t teach them is how to be kind and compassionate; this natural quality is above all what we look for when employing our carers and we don’t settle for anything less.
Private care in Harrow
Caring for someone is one of the most rewarding jobs there is – we know, we’re experts! However, it can be quite tiring to do, particularly if you’re caring for a loved one. It’s vital that you take a break every now and then, and the team can provide the ideal solution so that you can get a bit of respite. They will meet with both you and your loved one to make sure everything is in place before they step in.
Private care can also be beneficial if you want to take a family holiday that allows you all to have a real break, with one of our home carers to accompany you for your entire stay. We can also be there for you if you’ve just been discharged from hospital and need extra support while you get back on your feet.
