Branch Care Manager
At Helping Hands Evesham & Cotswolds, my main rolse is to ensure that we provide a high quality of care and a safe service. I make sure that the branch runs smoothly, day-to-day, ensuring that both the customers and carers are happy and have the best positive outcomes. Providing person-centred care and support. I joined Helping Hands in December 2022 but have worked in care for eight years. I started my journey in a dementia residential setting, whereby I started to progress my career. I moved onto become a senior support worker for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, I very quickly was lead on to become a registered manager for two sites. I am very proud of my team who are hard working, caring, diverse, and inspirational. A bit about me - I am married with two young children and enjoy spending all of my time with my family when I am not at work. I also enjoy socialising with my friends.

Home care in Evesham
-
It can often be quite a difficult decision when deciding to arrange for a carer to come and help you at home, but with our friendly team in Evesham it needn’t be difficult at all. We’ll meet with you at a time and place that suits you and take you through the different care options available to you. And because we specialise in person-centred care, everything will be centred around you and your requirements.
So, whether you’re living with multiple sclerosis and need support with personal care, getting dressed and preparing meals, or if you’re struggling with your mobility when you’re out and about and need someone to help with the shopping – we can put a supportive package of care in place that enables you to live the life you want to lead.
And if your care needs change, we can adapt to this too. We never have a one-size-fits-all approach, as we know how quickly things can sometimes change when it comes to living with a progressive condition or injury. However, our experienced team will be able to provide plenty of reassurance and swiftly change your visiting care hours or type of care that you receive if necessary.

One-to-one support from live-in care
-
Designed to be a more intensive form of support, live-in care in Evesham is ideal if you have more complex needs or are perhaps living as a couple but you both need an extra pair of hands around the house and with some personal care.
We don’t just send anyone to come and live and care for you. We’ll work with you to find a suitable carer, and once you’re happy that the right carer has been selected that matches your personality and interests, we’ll arrange for them to meet with you before they move in.
-
Domiciliary care that let’s you stay in control
-
Traditionally known as care at home or visiting care, domiciliary care allows you to pick and choose when and where you receive support without any detriment to your existing routines. Carers can support you with taking medication, getting washed and dressed, toileting needs and using mobility aids, all the way up to taking you to medical appointments, doing light housework or even taking you out for the afternoon to The Valley, Evesham for a spot of shopping and a slice of cake.
There really are many options for you to choose from, but most importantly, we’re here to relieve any stress or anxiety that you may get when worrying about difficulties that you may be having. We’ll do our best to get support to you as soon as we can so that you have total peace of mind when it comes to your physical and mental wellbeing.

If you’re a keen boules player but struggle with your joints, we’ll help you to carry out regular exercises at home to keep you nimble and active. Or if you love spending time in your garden but are unable to bend down to plant new bulbs or dead-head the flowers, we’ll reach the plants that are lower down and encourage you to use plant pots that are in your reach instead.
-

All of our carers are required to undertake an in-house training programme that covers manual handling, first aid, dementia, medication and personal care so that they are equipped to support our customers in the best way possible.
