The Services we Provide in Cornwall

When looking for exceptional home care in Cornwall you should come to Helping Hands. We’ve been delivering the very best care to our customers in the comfort of their own homes since we were established in 1989, which explains why we’re one of the UK’s most trusted providers. We care about the things that matter to you and your loved ones, which is why, despite having 150 branches across England and Wales, we still have the values we began with as a small family company.

Visiting Care

Our visiting care is available from just an hour or two a week, or as much as you need us. Some of our visiting care customers have several visits a day, whereas others may just need us once a week. We can come and take care of your housework, accompany you to appointments, help with your personal care or give your loved ones a break.

Live-in Care

However you need us, we can come and help you to be as independent as possible at home. Live-in care in Cornwall takes that to another level though, by making sure that you’re never alone at home. Companionship is something that many people miss but with live-in care your routine is followed but afterwards there’s time for a cuppa and a chat.

Respite Care

You may have been in hospital or you’re recovering from an illness and need some extra support to get back on your feet. Perhaps your family normally cares for you but they’re going on a well-deserved holiday, or your regular professional carer is taking a break? Respite care means that your routine will continue seamlessly for as long as you need us.

Receive Care in 24 Hours

In certain circumstances you can call us today and be receiving care tomorrow. We will do all we can to match you with an amazing carer who will always do everything they can to help you live comfortably at home. By staying in the place you love for your care, you don’t just get your practical needs provided for; your emotional well-being is also a priority for us. We may be a long-established company across most of the UK and have grown exponentially since our small beginnings. However, we are unique amongst care providers in that we don’t franchise our name. We own and run all of our branches as we believe it’s the only way to ensure consistently high standards, not wanting to put our name to something we cannot manage ourselves.

A CQC Accredited Service

The Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales fully regulate all of the care that we offer. This may not immediately seem important, but it makes a massive difference in the quality of care provided. Because we hold ourselves up to the regulatory body, we keep our standards high at all times, but not all care companies are so conscientious. Many aren’t regulated at all, or are not transparent about their ratings and reviews, however at Helping Hands we positively welcome people reading how well we’re doing. What’s more, our consistently high Trustpilot score is proof of how much our customers and their loved ones value us.
