The Services we Provide in Bristol

Helping Hands is not your average care company. We’re in our fourth decade of delivering exceptional care and support to our customers across England and Wales, so if you’re looking for the highest quality care at home in Bristol, you’d be wise to choose Helping Hands. We offer care in our customers’ own homes for so many different conditions and circumstances, however, our main services can be broken down into three distinct categories:

Live-in Care in Bristol – Constant, round-the-clock care and support from a dedicated carer living with you in your home. Companionship whenever you need it, as well as practical and personal support.

Visiting Care – Intermittent, reliable care at home when you don’t require someone living-in. Visiting care supports your independence from an hour or two per week, up to several visits per day.

Respite Care in Bristol – A temporary arrangement, ideal for when your carer needs a break or you need additional support on a short-term basis. This may be to get you back on your feet after a hospital stay or illness.

Receive Care in 24 Hours

When time is pressing and you need care in a hurry, we can often arrange to have someone supporting you at home in 24 hours, depending on your location, personal circumstances and care requirements. The first thing to do is contact our friendly customer care team who will be able to answer your questions, explain your options and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision about your – or your loved one’s – care.

There are various reasons why you may need care in a hurry; for example, an imminent hospital discharge or unexpected delays in support provision. Helping Hands can be on hand quickly, though, reassuring both you and your family whether you are:

A CQC Accredited Service

Being regulated and accredited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) is a sign of quality care delivery that you don’t get with everyone. Not all care providers put themselves forward for regulation, instead working as an ‘agency’ that focusses on maintaining a list of carers and clients that they can then ‘introduce’ and charge a fee to. Helping Hands is different, as we’ve never been a care agency, instead proudly managing our services ourselves, employing our carers directly, and never selling franchises. This means that all of our 150 branches are run by us and all of our carers are protected by UK employment laws. Get in touch with our friendly customer care team to discover more about care at home in Bristol, or request a call back for a time that suits you better.
