My name is Jacquie, the Bolton branch care manager, I am responsible for the day to day running of the branch. My role involves that our carers deliver a consistent and seamless high-quality care to our customers. It is my responsibility to ensure that our customers are always receiving the level of support that they need in order to remain comfortable and independent at home. I come with over a decade of care experience. I am a CMI Chartered manager also holding a BA Hons in Healthcare Leadership. Accredited with the prestigious NHS Mary Seacole Leadership academy. I hold several training and teaching qualifications. Following a highly successful career in staff development and training, I wanted to look at a fresh challenge closer to home. Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Bolton
Every single one of our carers goes through extensive training to ensure they have the perfect skillset to carry out great care. We don’t operate in the same way as agencies in that all of our carers are employed directly by us, which means we can guarantee continuity of care for you.
Our carers have top-up training at regular intervals and can be trained in specific skills so that your exact needs can be met, no matter how complex they may seem. Each carer is thoroughly vetted and reference-checked before they begin their career with us, ensuring your safety and peace of mind.
All personal care services are provided by our Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered office Helping Hands West Manchester, which is the regulatory body for home care across England who make sure that our care standards are as high as they can possibly be.
Fully supported respite care
If you are looking for short-term home care, we can provide respite live-in and visiting support in Bolton and the surrounding areas that can be put in place in as little as 24 hours’ notice from your initial enquiry.
Respite care is an ideal solution when:
• You are going on holiday – If you are going on holiday and would like some support on your trip, or if you are leaving a loved one at home whilst you take a break.
• You have had an operation or illness – If you are poorly and need some support for a short time as you recover, a respite carer can help you until you are back to your usual self.
• You’ve been discharged from hospital – Getting back in to the swing of things following some time in hospital can be daunting, but a short term care plan can help you during your recovery period.
• You have an occasion to attend – Weddings, birthday parties or university graduations could be difficult for you to attend without some support, so we can provide a carer for as little as one day to help you manage your needs without missing out on wonderful events.
The team in Bolton can discuss respite care with you so that you can get the exact care plan that you need.
