Visiting care and home care in Bedford
Flexible and considerate, our carers are trained in assisting with a variety of different medical and physical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke and many more. With the regularity of visiting care being from as little as 30 minutes per week up to several hourly calls throughout the day, all the way up to around-the-clock live-in care, we really do have something to offer for anyone in need of extra support at home in Bedford.
Our friendly Bedford carers can support a whole host of different care needs, from domestic duties such as cleaning, vacuuming and laundry, shopping and preparing meals, to assistance with hoists, mobility aids and personal care. And not just the practicalities, but the emotional element of care too. So, if you want someone to go for a shopping trip with or a stroll in your local park, our carers can do just that.

My name is Nina, and I am the branch manager for Helping Hands in Milton Keynes. Tailored Home care in Bedford
When the need for more intensive support arises, we understand that residential care isn’t always everybody’s preference. What’s more, we know how important it is for you to be able to feel safe and secure in the comfort of your own home. Live-in care is a direct alternative to moving into a care home, as it allows you to receive bespoke, one-to-one support from a dedicated live-in carer that will live in your home with you. They’ll be available to assist you with all of your care needs and be a companion too, so that you can continue to live life on your terms and keep up with your favourite hobbies and pastimes.
If you have complex care needs, we can also offer nurse-led care, which is overseen by a regional nurse. They will make sure the right level of clinical care is in place and also ensure that your carer has the correct training specific to you and your symptoms. So, if you require support with continence, a stoma, or PEG feeding, you can receive this level of care and so much more where you feel most content: your home.
Fully qualified carers in Bedford
We ensure that each of our carers are fully equipped and confident in delivering only the best level of care. Once recruited, they are required to complete a comprehensive training course consisting of manual handling, dementia, personal care, medication, safeguarding and first aid. In addition to this initial training course, all of our existing carers complete regular refresher courses so that their knowledge is always up to date.
As a recognised provider of home care within the industry, we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who monitor our services for their effectiveness, responsiveness and safety. Our team work hard to ensure they are always adhering to these high standards so that you have peace of mind that you or a loved one is getting the very best care.
Care Agency In Bedford
We’re a better home care option than a home care agency because we go the extra mile in ensuring we have the highest standards of care and the most compassionate, suitable carers. Unlike agencies, we employ our carers directly. We place great importance on looking after our carers properly because they’re the ones who make our care provision so exceptional. Being a private home care provider also means you won’t get any hidden fees or complex pricing structures from us – we’ll keep things as simple as possible for you.
