Neurological care plans
What is a neuro care plan?
A neuro care plan is designed to support individuals with a condition affecting the nerves and nervous system.
At Helping Hands, we support many individuals living with neurodegenerative conditions, including Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS) and motor neurone disease (NMD). Our aim is to provide exceptional support so your loved one can continue to live independently at home, regardless of what condition they are living with.
When it comes to our care plans, we ensure that your support is completely tailored and personalised to your condition. Our nurse-led care team can support your loved one little and often with visiting care or round-the-clock with live-in care. We can also offer respite care, giving your loved one extra support on a temporary basis.
Why should I have a neuro nursing care plan?
If you are living with a neurodegenerative condition, which is limiting you to carry out daily tasks, having a care plan in place can have a positive impact on your life.
We understand it can be hard to ask for help, especially if you have always been independent. However, there is nothing wrong with having extra support. Our care team is here to listen and support you, so you live life how you wish without leaving the comfort of your home.
There are several reasons and benefits to having a neuro nursing care plan. These include:
Stay at home
