Branch Care Manager
I am responsible for ensuring the service is safe and fully compliant with all legal regulations and am accountable for the overall leadership of the service. I line manage a team of a Care Coordinator, and two Care & Training Practitioners, and ensure our carers are managed effectively. I am responsible for business development for my branch and ensuring the service is viable by working with key stakeholders within the business and reviewing our business and marketing plans. I volunteered at a day centre for adults with learning difficulties in my late teens and decided then that I wanted a career supporting people to live a fulfilling life. I feel proud of the service we provide and the carers we have are all very reliable and enjoy the work that they do. I love to read and I love to travel, as well as enjoying spending time with friends and family.

Visiting home care in Canary Wharf
-
If you need a bit of extra help around the house or support with personal care, visiting care could be an ideal way for you to receive the support you need without having to leave the comfort and familiarity of your own home.
Whether you’re in your twenties and have a physical disability that makes it difficult to meet up with friends, or if you have Parkinson’s and struggle with making meals and getting in and out of bed – we can help.
The care we provide is completely person-centred and crafted around you, so if things change and you begin to need extra support, we’ll be flexible around you. We also understand how important it is to care for both body and mind; not only will we help with your physical needs, but we’ll be there for a chat or to accompany you to your local café too.

Specialist live-in care in your own home
-
For those that need round-the-clock support at home, live-in care is a great option to consider, particularly if you don’t want the stress and upheaval of moving into residential care. Not only will you receive quality care from a dedicated live-in carer that will get to know you and your individual needs, your support plan is tailored to your preferences and routines. Unlike a nursing home, you don’t have to adhere to strict meal times or be told what time you get up in the morning. Instead, you make all of the decisions about your care, including what you eat and when.
We also have a team of expert nurses who support our live-in carers when assisting someone who has complex care needs, such as a catheter, stoma, or PEG feeding tube. Bringing extensive clinical knowledge, our nurses will work closely with the medical team surrounding your care, such as your GP or social worker, to ensure that the right support is put in place by your live-in carer.
-
Expert dementia care
-
As the leading dementia experts in the home care industry, we know what it takes to provide the most empathetic and fulfilling care to you or a loved one with dementia. We’ll get to know your routines and preferences to ensure that everything is kept just as you like it, avoiding any upset or anxiety that can come with change.
Care can be quite daunting to someone living with dementia, especially if they are often unaware of their symptoms such as memory loss or confusion. Our carers are fully equipped to understand and care for those living with any one of the different types of dementia, supporting them with compassion and dignity so that they feel safe and relaxed.
-
Elderly care for extra support
-
Part of getting older means that you can’t always do things as easily as you used to, particularly if you have mobility-limiting conditions such as arthritis. That’s where elderly care from our carers can help. We’ll be there to help out around the house, take your bins out and help you pop to the shops to collect your groceries, as well as being a friendly face that you can rely on if you just need a natter over a cup of tea.
And if you realise that you need additional support with getting washed, dressed and going to the toilet, we can always increase the amount of care you have to fit in with your requirements.
-
Emergency support with respite care
-
If your regular caregiver needs to tend to a family emergency or if you’ve recently been discharged from hospital and require additional help at home, respite care can deliver short-term support that adheres to your specific needs. With care put in place usually within 24 hours of your enquiry, we’ll make sure that you have the right care in place that helps you on your road to recovery or fits in with your existing routine while your caregiver is away.
You may want to take a holiday to the coast or even abroad, or you may have a celebration to attend but are worried about travelling by yourself. Respite care can enable you to keep your independence by still doing the things you want to do, like going on holiday or to special events, just with a little help along the way from a supportive carer.

Fully-trained carers in Canary Wharf
-
To ensure that our carers meet our expectations, we only select those that are truly empathetic and have a passion for caring for others, regardless of previous care experience that they may have. Once recruited, all of our carers undertake our award-winning training, which covers modules in manual handling, first aid, dementia, medication and personal care. In addition to this, all of our carers go through thorough background checks, including a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screening and character references.
As we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we follow stringent guidelines put in place to ensure we only deliver the latest and safest care practices. This provides you with the extra reassurance that the care you or a loved one is receiving is fully compliant with the industry’s governing body.
