Meet the Aylesbury care team
Branch Care Manager
My primary role is to do everything I can to support my staff's health, safety, and well-being while ensuring the smooth operation of our services. I am responsible for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements and delivers quality care to our customers. I believe that by prioritising these areas, we can create a safe and supportive environment for both our staff and the people we serve. Originally, I am from Romania and I have a background in education. Over ten years ago, I moved to the UK, where I discovered a passion for working in the care sector. I began my career as a healthcare assistant and, through dedication and hard work, progressed through various roles within the field. In my personal life, I cherish spending time with my family and spoiling them with homemade goodies whenever I get the chance. Cooking and baking for my loved ones brings me great joy, and I take pride in creating delicious treats that bring smiles to their faces. Whether it’s a traditional Romanian dish or a new recipe I’ve discovered, sharing these moments with my family is a source of happiness and fulfillment. Overall, my journey from Romania to the UK and from healthcare assistant to my current role has been driven by a passion for care.

Home care in Aylesbury - catered for your needs
Being able to support people in remaining safe and independent at home is at the forefront of what we do – and we’re proud to have been supporting thousands of families in doing just that for over 30 years.
You may need a little help in preparing your breakfast in the mornings, or perhaps you require more complex support that requires a carer to stay overnight for a couple of nights a week; whatever your requirements are, Sam and her team can support with anything you need.
With each of our carers completing a comprehensive training programme with regular refresher courses, the team are fully equipped to help you with any of your requirements, where that is administering your medication, preparing your meals, keeping the house tidy or more complex support for dementia, motor neurone disease or an acquired brain injury.
Everybody has their own individual ways of living their life and that shouldn’t have to change – regardless of your circumstances. Our Aylesbury home care team will work with you and your family to ensure that you remain in full control of your care, so that you can continue to live your life on your terms.
From catheter management to ensuring your pet has a full bowl of water, we can support you with any of the following care needs:
- Medication – Friendly reminders to take your medicines
- Personal care – Helping you to get washed, dressed and ready for the day
- Moving and handling – Supporting you with your mobility and getting you in and out of bed
- Household duties – Cooking, cleaning and laundry
- General support – Assisting you with your grocery shop, supporting you to the post office and helping you make a cup of tea

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency Aylesbury
We’re better than a care agency, because we prioritise our carers’ well-being. Unlike many agencies, we employ all of our carers directly, which means that we pay their salary, give them extensive training, and provide them with the job security that they deserve.
Helping Hands are the only care provider endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care, as well as being fully licensed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
All of our carers are trained and equipped to support people with a wide range of needs and conditions, no matter how straightforward or complex they might be, and we’ll never ask you to pay any fees or charges that weren’t outlined in your initial contract.
Domiciliary support in Aylesbury
We understand how important it is for you to maintain control of your day-to-day life, which is why the team will work with you to ensure that you can continue to live independently, just with a little help along the way.
Traditionally known as care at home, domiciliary care allows you to determine the frequency and the intensity of your care. Whether you need complex overnight support or a 30-minute drop-in to help prepare your dinner, the team can support you with any of your everyday tasks including personal care and housekeeping, as well as more intensive support for clinical care such as PEG feeding and stoma management.
