Compassionate, person-centred care for your loved one
In the UK, 700,000 people care for family members with dementia. Extra support at home can make a significant difference for both you and your loved one. Whether you need morning check-ins or 24/7 care, our compassionate carers are here to help ensure their wellbeing and safety.
We understand it can be overwhelming, and you may find your relationship changing as many family members take on the role of the primary carer, but that’s where we step in.

Hobbies
Whether your loved one is a bookworm, chess master or loves music, hobbies can positively impact their mental wellbeing and cognitive health. That’s why our carers will always encourage your loved one to do things they enjoy.
Seeing family and friends
Seeing family and friends can still bring comfort even if your loved one doesn’t recognise you, this is because while their memories fade their feelings still remain. We will ensure your loved one continues to see the people they love.
Personal care
Our carers can provide discreet, sensitive care, assisting with bathing, toileting, and dressing. So, we will always ensure your loved one’s dignity.
Preparing meals
We will always help prepare your loved one’s favourite meals and ensure they get their five a day. If needed, we will also assist them at mealtimes.
Assisting with housework
Our carers can help with laundry, ironing, taking the bins out and much more. So you can spend time with your loved one while we take care of the rest.
Companionship
All our carers are not just professionals but compassionate and empathetic individuals who truly make the best companions for your loved one.

Cannot fault the care our Mother receives. The carers are simply wonderful and we feel totally confident Mum is looked after. The lines of communication are always good and they could not be more helpful in the office. Thank you!

Carol Bunn
The office has been fantastic since Faith took over. She is so efficient, very kind, thoughtful and has a very caring attitude. Helping Hands have looked after Mum for the last 7 years and they are very efficient, caring and trustworthy and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. They took a lot of worry off our shoulders and looked after Mum really well. They are a credit the the Carers profession.
Sue Edwards
This was a first for me arranging care for mum as she was staying with us for a month. I did my research in the area and liked the ethos of helping hands. This was confirmed when they came to meet mum. We have been delighted with the carers that have been arranged for mum. They have all been professional and taken great care to make sure mum is happy with the personal care keeping her dignity intaked. We would highly recommend this company. Thank you Helping Hands Chelmsford x

My Mom had the most outstanding care, support and compassion from the amazing Solihill team. They supported not only her but also our family during a very difficult time. I could not have managed to give mom full support without them due to still working for the NHS.
Mom has sadly passed but I will never forget Helping hands for treating Mom like their own family and keeping her safe. She always wanted her last years and days at home. Helping hands allowed me to carry out her wishes. Once Mom was in Palliative care Helping hands stepped in to also support my Husband and I. A painful journey I could not have done without them. A special thank you to Nicki and Sue for their outstanding care, compassion and support. You will never be forgotten.
Mark Greenwood
As sole carer for my wife Mary, I have been very thankful for the care from Helping Hands Bromley. Companionship and dusting with enthusiasm make a big difference to Mary. Our regular carer, Claire, is excellent at listening and tailoring what she does.
