Home care in Felixstowe
Visiting care and home care in Felixstowe
Felixstowe represents a great day out by the sea, yet there’s so much more to this coastal town than the big blue. Despite receiving no mention in the Domesday Book, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have historical significance. Lost to the sea in the 18th century and therefore only visible at low tide is The Dip, a Roman Saxon Shore Fort known as Walton Castle. There is also the 12th century site of a former Benedictine Priory, now home to the church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
No stranger to a long and illustrious history is Helping Hands, as we’ve been established since 1989, delivering our exceptional home care to people across the area. Our outstanding visiting and live-in care services, all fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, will keep you as independent as possible at home, for as long as you need us.

Meet the Felixstowe care team
Branch Care Manager
Hello, I'm Danielle, the Branch Care Manager for Ipswich. My role is to oversee the branch and support my hard working team with delivering a quality service to your loved ones. We provide person-centred support that is tailored to each customer, based on their individual needs, wishes and preferences. Our overall goal is to ensure everyone is able to live safely and independently in their own homes. We have a family approach and a determination to succeed in keeping our customer safe at home. This is our passion as a team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my family, coffee dates with friends and pottering around. I also enjoy crafting and holidays. I'm a dog lover and have a seven year old German shepherd. I come from nursing homes and I am a trained care practitioner, I have worked with different needs over the years. Elderly care is a passion of mine starting at the age of eighteen as a care assistant and making my way up the ladder to senior care, care practitioner to branch manager. From residential, nursing hospital and private care, I take pride in my qualifications of NVQ's and Practitioner. My responsibilities have always been to provide the best person-centred care.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Felixstowe
Our four decades of experience have seen us become expert in delivering care at home for our thousands of customers. We’ve worked tirelessly during that time to hone a truly exceptional, person-centred care experience for everyone we support. We take into account all of your preferences and needs, building your package of care around you and the way you like to live. Our aim has always been to keep our customers as independent as possible in the home they love and that will never change.
24/7 live in care support
Our live-in carers are dedicated to providing the same high standards of care, but with the added extra that they’ll reside in your home with you. This means that you and your loved ones have the additional reassurance that you’re never on your own, with companionship whenever you want it. They’ll also undertake all of the daily tasks that you may be finding more difficult, such as your housework, laundry, meal preparation, and medication management. They’ll never overstep boundaries though, so your house will still be your private escape that you’ve always loved.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Felixstowe
We’re not a care agency at Helping Hands, and we never have been. People understandably don’t know the differences between a care agency and a private home care company, but we’re proud to be a private company who is fully regulated and dedicated to providing only the highest standards of care at home. We’ll keep costs transparent, so no hidden fees like some agencies do, instead ensuring you always know what you’re paying for. We also manage your entire care journey, from the first time you contact us, so you’ll always be in the best hands.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Felixstowe
We value our carers highly at Helping Hands, knowing that without them we wouldn’t be able to provide the exceptional care we love to do. That’s why we look after them the way they look after you, providing them with opportunities to develop their skills, increase their knowledge, and earn more money. Speaking of money, we offer above average industry pay rates as we recognise what an amazing job our carers do, and we’re happy to reward them well for it. We know they’re naturally compassionate people too, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
