Meet the Norfolk care team
Branch Care Manager
Hi, I am the Branch Manager in the Fakenham branch of Helping Hands. My job is to provide a team of well trained and professional carers. These carers provide excellent support to people wanting to remain living independently and safely in their own homes. With the help of a Care Coordinator and Care and Training Practitioner we provide a tailor-made service to customers that is regularly reviewed and altered as changes in need determine. I have worked in care, in various settings since I left school. It was a job I quickly fell in love with and I have never looked back. I could be quoted as telling people constantly that this is the best job in the world. I know this area really well. I live here with my husband and two dogs. We all love living so close to the seaside and we do lots of walking on the beach and swimming in the sea.

High quality home care in Norfolk
Home care from our Norfolk care team is suitable for any older person who would benefit from having a bit of extra support to manage from day to day. It might be that you’ve been diagnosed with a medical condition, are experiencing age-related frailties, or simply don’t have the time and energy that you used to. You don’t even need to have a particular reason for wanting care – many of our customers simply enjoy the companionship offered by our warm and friendly carers. Our team in Norfolk are all expertly trained to provide a wide range of services to you in your home, and can also accompany you out and about should you require a travelling companion.
24/7 live in care support
One of the areas of care in which we specialise is live-in care in Norfolk, which provides you with one of our wonderful carers in your home full time. Your live-in carer will have their own room in your house, so that they can be there around the clock and provide you with proactive, specialist care. Whether you need help for a specific medical condition, mobility assistance, support with medication, discreet personal care or just about anything else, a live-in carer allows you to continue living life on your own terms as much as possible.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Norfolk
We’re a private care provider rather than a care agency, and that will always be the case. This means that we can offer you a number of guarantees that many agencies can’t. For instance, we employ all of our carers directly, and will never hire anyone from outside Helping Hands. This means you can be confident that your carer has been subjected to our rigorous background checks, has passed our thorough assessment process, and has received our industry-renowned training. You also won’t have to worry about paying your carer, as we handle this aspect of your care on your behalf, and you won’t be burdened with mountains of time-consuming paperwork.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Norfolk
We firmly believe that Helping Hands carers are the very best in the UK, because we’re extremely selective when it comes to hiring people to our care teams. Our Norfolk care branch comprises a team of exceptional carers who constantly go above and beyond to ensure every customer receives the level of support that they deserve. All of our carers have been specifically recruited for their kind, empathetic personalities and their dedicated approach to their roles, and have been subjected to numerous background checks before joining so that we know they’ll be a perfect fit for us and for you. We provide every new carer with our comprehensive carer training, which we’ve been delivering in-house for over 30 years, and they’ll continue to participate in regular refresher courses.
