Area Care Manager
As an area care manager, I have operational and financial responsibility for the branches in my region. It is my role to lead and motivate my team and to ensure that the care we provide meets the national standards in terms of quality. On a day-to-day basis, my focus is to drive growth in terms of our carer and customer base. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling - generally anywhere with sun and usually have another trip planned before the last one has even ended! When I am at home, I go for long walks and love stopping off for a pub lunch.

Other care we provide
Home care Wimbledon - tailored to you
Helping Hands was founded in 1989 as a way to provide dedicated and person-centred home care that enables families to remain safe and independent at home – and that is exactly what we have been doing for 30 years. As a company that was built on a foundation of family values, we understand how important it is to provide care that makes you feel safe, supported and as independent as possible. That’s why our team will work with you to provide a bespoke package of care that focuses entirely around you and your needs.
You may be living with your partner and you’d like some help to alleviate the pressures of supporting each other, or perhaps you are living alone and you don’t feel as comfortable navigating the London Underground service as you used to; whatever it is you need, we’re here to help.
Whether you’re looking for 30-minute visits or more regular visits throughout the day, the Wimbledon team are fully equipped to help with anything ranging from personal care, mobility support and medication administration. And with the support of our Clinical Nurses, we can also provide support for more complex conditions such as stroke aftercare.
Live-in care to support your independence
We understand the uncertainties that can arise as a result of acknowledging the need for more intensive support, especially if you don’t want to move out of your beloved home and into residential care. If that’s the case, live-in care in Wimbledon from our team is the perfect alternative to give you the round-the-clock support you need without having to leave the home that you have known and loved for so many years.

Award-winning training for our Wimbledon carers
We know exactly what it takes to provide great care – we’ve been doing it for 30 years! But without the commitment of our amazing private carers, we wouldn’t have been able to support the thousands of families across the country that we have to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Fully-trained in a number of modules including moving and handling, dementia care, safeguarding, equality and diversity and many more, each and every one of our carers are qualified, experienced and naturally amazing people.
Throughout our stringent recruitment process, each of our carers receive full background checks – such as Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screenings, and they are all directly employed by us – so you don’t need to worry about any additional paperwork.
Like all our other branches, we are fully licensed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and we are also the only home care provider to be endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care.
Domiciliary care to support you in Wimbledon
Here at Helping Hands, we understand how important it is for you to feel safe and independent in your own home. That’s why our team provide personalised domiciliary care packages that allow you to choose the frequency and intensity of your care.
It may be that you need someone to pop in little and often to help you around the house, or perhaps you need someone to help you take your canine companion out for a walk along Wimbledon Common. Whatever it is you need, we’re here to ensure that the right care and arrangements are put in place so that you can live your life entirely on your terms.
