We understand how finances play a big part when it comes to making decisions, especially when it comes to setting up care for yourself or a loved one. That’s why, at Helping Hands, we want to make sure you are provided with a service that you are happy with and gives you better value for your money.
At Helping Hands, we have been providing care for more than three decades and supporting families to live their very best life. Our home care in Kensington team is just one of the many branches that we have, that will support you every step of the way.
Our carers are fully trained to support our customers, regardless of what condition they are living with. So, whether you are living with dementia, cancer or heart disease, we will ensure you are provided with exceptional care. All our care plans are fully tailored around you and your needs – so you’ll have full control.
Visiting care costs:
If you need a hand with the weekly shop, help getting dressed in the mornings or someone to accompany you to your appointments, then the visiting care plan may be better suited to your requirements. Our visits are flexible and start from as little as 30 minutes a week. Prices are £22.29 per hour with a £4.50 call-out fee. This covers travel expenses. Prices may vary on your location and personal requirements.
Live-in care costs:
We understand how daunting it can be to have someone new come into your home. But, we make sure all our carers go through a strict background check, referencing and training process. So, you know you’ll be in safe hands. With live-in care, you’ll benefit from having support 24 hours a day and being close to your loved ones by remaining in your home. Prices for live-in care in Kensington start from £1,460 per week for a single person and £1,700 per week for a couple.
When looking at home care options for you or your loved one, it is important to consider how you can fund this in the long term. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for additional funding to help towards your care. You can contact your local authority and request a Financial Assessment. This will see if you qualify for any funding from the council. To learn more about cost and funding you can visit our FAQs page or contact one of our customer care advisors.
It is important to see what benefits are available to you. Like care funding, benefits that you may be entitled to will depend on an individual’s circumstances and needs. This includes Pensions Credits and Attendance Allowance. You can talk to one of our staff members in our Kensington & Chelsea care team who will be more than happy to advise you.
If you would like more advice and guidance on home care funding, then contact our friendly customer care team today. They are available seven days a week. If you prefer you can contact us via our webpage or pop into our local branch to talk to a member of our care team.
