Home care in Buxton
Visiting care and home care in Buxton
Situated in the Peak District at over 1,000 feet above sea level, Buxton holds claim to the title of England highest market town. Robert Stevenson, who directed Disney’s Mary Poppins, was born in the town in 1905.
At Helping Hands, we’re not quite at the stage where we own flying umbrellas, but we do know a thing or two about making a house feel homely and providing loving care. We can’t promise to sweep the chimney, but our highly trained carers are able to help with pretty much anything else around the house – from doing the vacuuming to helping the medicine go down.

Branch Care Manager
Hi, I’m Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. I have worked in Macclesfield for five years now, and I spend a lot of social time in Macclesfield too as I play hockey for Macclesfield Ladies. I live in Congleton which means that I am only a short distance from the branch and the customers we provide care for. As Branch Manager for Macclesfield, my main responsibilities are to ensure that we as a team deliver a safe and exceptional service of care, maintaining happy customers and engaged staff.
