We create a tailored care plan for you to review. Once you’ve agreed the plan, we can organise care in as little as 24 hours.
Why choose Helping Hands
Great care relies on great people.
Through our rigorous recruitment process we find those special people with the right levels of empathy and compassion to care for your family as we would want our own families to be cared for.
We directly employ every single one of our carers. We’re proud of our training programme and the ongoing support we provide to our people so they feel they can deliver at their best, for you. We never use agency staff.
Supporting families
We’re also here to support families when finding care becomes a family decision. From helping choose the right care on behalf of a loved one to proactively keeping in contact with wider family members when care is in place, we like to keep the lines of communication open so we can respond and adapt quickly if care needs change.
Find out more about why we’re one of the most trusted private homecare providers in the UK.

A fully regulated home care provider
Here at Helping Hands, our service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)
This means we need to consistently meet high standards and are monitored by our regulators.
Why is being a regulated care provider important?
Independent inspections of our service, giving you peace of mind
Fully vetted, high-quality carers
Guaranteed training and development for our staff
What to consider
Is your provider fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)?
Being a fully regulated company means having to meet stringent quality standards. Reassure yourself before choosing your care provider that they have nationally recognised and accredited carer training as well as robust recruitment and vetting processes. Not all care providers or agencies are regulated.
Does your chosen care provider directly employ its carers?
Care agencies sometimes facilitate an introduction to a carer but then may look to you to employ that person and manage the care. When a private care provider directly employs its carers, the care will be managed for you and you’ll have peace of mind that you will still receive care if your usual carer is ill.
What training and ongoing support do carers receive?
The best care providers ensure their carers have nationally recognised training, access to experienced managers and continuous support to equip them to do their job well.
What CQC rating has your local service been awarded?
Make sure it’s rated Good or Outstanding.
